Federal Programs Grants.gov is a central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs and provides access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards.  It is organized by the 26 federal grant-making agencies (e.g., U.S. Department of Education). You do not have to register to find grant opportunities, though you will need to register once you are ready to apply for a grant.  This process take 3-5 business days, but you may need several weeks in advance to gather the required documentation.  To receive email notification, sign-up at: <http://www.grants.gov/applicants/email_subscription.jsp>.
